Encoder Accuracy vs Resolution
The HS35iQ encoder is designed with an internal temperature sensor. Equipment manufactures determine the temperature range their product can safely operate in without damage. High temperature detection within the encoder provides early notification that the operating temperature is approaching or exceeds the safe range. Heat in general can indicate a large problem and catching it early can save expensive repairs. It is important that maintenance personnel catch the root cause early so they can troubleshoot during a scheduled downtime.
For more details on installing the HS35iQ encoder please download the software manual here. The PulseIQ™ Software Tool can also be downloaded here.
