The NorthStar NSRT Replacement Sensors provide field replaceable options for all Nex Gen NorthStar RIM Tach magnetic encoder families. Having the ability to replace just the sensor of the encoder reduces downtime related to motor disassembly. It is also much less expensive to replace a sensor than an entire encoder.
All sensors feature stainless steel module housing, wide non-contact sensing gap, encapsulated surface mount electronics and reverse polarity protection.
The Nex Gen sensors also provide an active LED indicator with diagnostics, allowing a visual indication of encoder health.
