Modular Encoders

Linear Optical Encoder Module
Linear Optical Encoder Module
This inexpensive Module provides A, B and Index outputs for precise linear position and velocity feedback.  Available in either digital or analog outputs, this unit is ideal for OEM System design of linear stages.  Digital resolutions of 720 Cycles per Inch or 25 Cycles per MM and Analog resolutions of 250 or 500 Cycles per Inch are standard.  One Micron resolution is attainable using the Analog version along with standard interpolation circuits.  After you review the PDF data sheet, click here for available resolutions.
Rotary Encoder Module
Rotary Encoder Module

This unit provides A, B and Index outputs plus three optional brushless motor commutation channels.  The Optical Encoder Module eliminates the need for Hall Effect feedback devices and provides more precise motor commutation signals.  These encoders are available with either digital or SIN/COS output.  Modular encoders are used in many commercial and industrial applications, as well as in scanners, trackers, guidance, stabilization and optical focus controls for military programs.  After you review the PDF data sheet, click here for available resolutions.
